We do love a themed party here at Papillon Events and this Out of Africa birthday party was no exception.  The party was a combined celebration to commemorate one family’s respective birthdays, which included a 16^th, 18^th, 21^st and 50^th birthday just outside Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire.

Subtle influences from Africa provided the backdrop for a clients 50th birthday party in the grounds of their home in Hertfordshire for their 170 guests.

A CD player with animal noises was hidden in the bushes so that guests were greeted by roaring lions and babbling baboons – which caused a few laughs not to mention a few surprised looks!

On entering the marquee, Moroccan canapés and bowl food circulated early on, followed by little cubes of the fabulous African cake for midnight munchies.
