Papillon Events had the absolute privilege of organising a boat party for the Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations on behalf of Hunter Design on 3rd June.
Despite the wet weather, it was a truly magnificent occasion and didn’t dampen the spirits of the 200 corporate guests on board the Silver Sturgeon – the flagship vessel of the Silver Fleet.
Guests arrived at The Savoy for a champagne drinks reception and to collect their boarding passes, before being escorted through the flag waving crowds and onto the red carpeted pier ready to board the boat.
Once on board Young Guns Entertainment and Gary Parkes Media entertained them with melodic tunes during the canapé reception before being seated for lunch, carefully prepared by Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts. The menu was a Jubilant culinary feast, where guests were treated to a 3 course lunch and afternoon tea with a Modern British theme. Stunning floral displays were created by Wood Brown florists. The Union Jacks made out of flowers were our favorites. A truly incredible event and one that we’ll remember for many years to come.
“Thank you so much for all your hard work on such a great event for the Thames Pageant celebrations” Jake Hughes, Managing Director, Hunter Design”.
