James Bond Would be Proud

Martini’s were shaken not stirred as guests dressed to thrill at a client’s 40th birthday party at their home in Buckinghamshire.

155 guests were treated to a sit down dinner followed by live band (IPOP) and DJ (DJ Suleman) where they partied into the small hours.

007 lighting effects (Lightech) were projected onto the façade of the house and marquee floor. Diamonds (sadly not real ones) were scattered on the canapés and tables. A Golden bullet (a quails egg in disguise with gold leaf) were a real talking point as were the shortbread revolvers on the champagne & Ferrero Roche mousse dessert.

Mirrored table tops, acrylic ghost chairs and sumptuous black velvet armchairs and ottomans (Fresh Event Hire) adorned the dining area and bar creating a beautiful and decadent setting.

Stunning table decorations of purple hydrangeas were provided by Flowers by Eve, in keeping with the black & purple colour scheme.

To get the party going, chocolate shot cups filled with flavoured vodka (Lovoka) were handed out to guests, along with dinner jacket cake pops.

Event highlights for us were the lady in a gold catsuit, the man who arrived in nothing more than a pair of speedo’s and the man who came with 3 Bond outfit changes – one of which was a fluorescent all in one ski suit!

James Bond would have been proud – a truly magnificent evening and we were absolutely thrilled with the overall look & feel of the event.
