Papillon Events was born out of a lifelong passion to organise and deliver exceptional Corporate Events, Private Parties and Weddings.
From a young age, Charlotte Pudney, the owner of Papillon Events, dreamed of organising stunning parties & events, however the lure of London and corporate life beckoned first. She spent 10 years crafting her trade, working for three of the leading media companies marketing and organising a portfolio of high profile events and in 2003 took the plunge to leave the corporate world behind to set up Papillon Events to focus on her passion – organising incredible and stylish events.
Charlotte is often asked how the name Papillon Events arose, which means butterfly in French. Butterfly is the symbol of powerful transformation and joy. Like a butterfly, when you think about planning an event, you start with a chrysalis of an idea, which, with careful nurturing then grows and flourishes into something beautiful and elegant. This is very much like an event. A client starts with an idea and a blank canvas, which we transform into a stunning and creatively designed event – the Papillon effect!
